SaniBEST Pro: Heavy-Duty Upflush Toilet Kit

SaniBEST Pro Upflush Kit Includes

  1. SaniBEST Pro heavy-duty macerating bathroom pump
  2. White toilet bowl (standard or elongated)
  3. White toilet tank
  4. Extension for behind wall installation (optional)

SaniBEST Pro Benefits

The SaniBEST Pro is a system that is used to install a complete bathroom and/or laundry room up to 25 feet below the sewer line, or even up to 150 feet away from a soil stack. The SaniBEST Pro pump is designed to connect with:

  1. This SaniBEST Pro Uplush Toilet
  2. Any Sink
  3. Any Shower
  4. Any Bath
  5. Any Washing Machine

While most of Saniflo pump ranges are macerators, the SaniBEST Pro incorporates an actual grinder system.  The SaniBEST Pro is ideal for situations where you do not control the use of it (ie. rental unit, offices, warehouses, etc).  The SaniBEST Pro is designed to deal with sanitary articles that may have been flushed down the toilet; such articles may consist of sanitary napkins, q-tips, dental floss, etc.

SaniBEST Pro Installation

The SaniBEST Pro is simplicity itself to install; there are just four connections.

  1. The macerating/pump is connected to the spigot of a horizontal outlet toilet.
  2. The toilet tank is connected to the water supply.
  3. The macerating/pump is connected to the small diameter discharge pipe work.
  4. The macerating/pump is connected to the electrical supply.
Then optionally connect the discharge pipes from the sink, shower, bath and/or washing machine.

SaniBEST Pro Function

The inside of the SaniBEST Pro is comprised of a pressure chamber, which starts and stops the unit, and the motor, which drives the stainless steel cutting blade and the pump.  When the flush is activated, the water flowing into the SaniBEST Pro activates a micro switch in the pressure chamber, which in turn starts the motor.  The motor is sealed for life in an oil filled enclosure.  A common spindle/shaft drives the impeller and the blades.  The moving parts therefore are kept to an absolute minimum.  Water and organic waste matter, enter the chamber and are reduced to slurry as the blades rotate at 3600 RPM.  The reduced solids are picked up at the bottom and the impeller mounted beneath the motor ejects the waste.

The unit pumps the effluent upward to 25 feet and/or 150 feet horizontally (with gravity fall).  Once the water level in the container goes down, the micro switch deactivates.  A normal operating cycle for the SaniBEST Pro takes about 7-9 seconds depending upon the discharge pipe run configuration.

In addition, the SaniBEST Pro will also discharge gray water from a variety of other sanitary fixtures such as: a sink, a bath/shower, a urinal and even a washing machine (indirect connection).  When adding a bathtub/shower, a base will have to be constructed.  This base should be made out of a 2” x 6” (minimum) or 2”x 8” (recommended) on edge, to allow for the installation of a P-trap and the required 1/4” per foot gravity flow towards the pump unit.

The wastewater from other sanitary fixtures is discharged into the SaniBEST Pro via two 1½-inch inlets on either side of the housing.  The discharge elbow on top of the SaniBEST Pro can be rotated 360 degrees depending on the discharge installation.  A non-return valve (included in assembly) prevents back flow into the unit.

This unit has been designed with a vent connection on the lid.  All plumbing codes require connection to a vent system.  Please note that the vent system should be a two-way air vent.  The use of mechanical vents, air admittance valves or similar devices are not permitted as these are considered one-way air vent systems.

The SaniBEST Pro unit must be connected to our rear discharge toilet.  It is highly recommended for the grinder to be connected to a Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI) circuit.

The SaniBEST Pro has been certified to American and Canadian Standards.  Macerating standard; US: CSA Certified & IAPMO (UPC) listed - ASME A112.3.4, CA: Macerating Standard CSA B45.9.

SaniBEST Pro Water Conservation

The water closet the SaniBEST Pro is connected to, uses much less water than a regular toilet, it uses 6 liters (1.6 US Gal) of water per flush.

My home repairman recommended this and I'm glad he did. It looks great, works great, and clogs less.

Got to my house in 3 days. I was shocked! I mean DVDs from Amazon take 2 weeks to arrive. Anyway, just top notch ecommerce site all round. Thank you guys!

I wish I had gotten the sanicompact instead, but I didn't know if I would need a shower tap onto it as well, so I just went conservative.

So grateful for free shipping. It must have cost you a fortune, but thanks for saving me a bundle!
Aaron W from Texas on Apr 05, 2013
Pros: easy to install, less messy, faster, no in-ground pipes. Cons: it takes a little longer for the plumber to figure out how to route piping since it's not traditional. Overall: highly recommended

I bought a saniflo toilet from another online retailer, and I had questions and a couple minor issues. They were horrible to deal with, so I ended up returning the unit and getting a refund. I bought from here and I was completely amazed at how different an experience it was. Thank you for restoring my faith in the humanity of some ecommerce sites. They do exist! :)

Great product and the lady I spoke with on the phone, Amy, was super sweet and very helpful! You restored the little faith I had in ecommerce sites, and the customer service that comes along with it!

    Great product. Five stars.

New building requirements in our area made us fail inspection because we needed another bathroom. Our building has no place to put in another bathroom, and to put one in, we would have to do a serious remodel, which is very, very expensive given the distance to the existing ejector pit. Well, we found this product and it has been a lifesaver! It made the project possible when we would have otherwise would have had to spend over $10K in construction and renovation costs, not to mention interrupting our quiet office space. This was installed in a day, for much, much, much less. Thank you!!!!!

Works great. I had to finagle the outlet a bit closer, and was actually thinking of running an extension cord behind the wall to make it a bit easier, but it all ended up well. Fast shipping was great and got here quickly.
